J’ai travaillé en tant que photographe plus de 30 ans aux États-Unis et j’ai eu la chance d’être témoin des diverses cultures que sont les “ Traditions Américaines “.Je souhaite préserver et partager ce qui pourrait disparaître aux États-Unis en raison de la forte politique anti-immigration menée sous l’administration Trump.
Les États-Unis sont fondés sur les cultures différentes, et la manière dont les mariages y sont célébrés en est sans doute l’expression la plus joyeuse.Les traditions de divers groupes ethniques, notamment Chinois, Mexicains, Coréens et Indiens, sont riches en rituels qui diffèrent fortement les uns des autres et témoignent d’un profond respect pour la famille et la communauté.
De nombreux Afro-Américains intègrent des traditions Africaines mêlées à de nouveaux styles contemporains.
Les « Américains anglo-saxons » sont également souvent très attachés à leur héritage, qu’il soit Irlandais, Allemand, Anglais, Néerlandais, Italien.
La population LGBTQ est elle aussi prise pour cible, et l’union entre hommes ou entre femmes est de nouveau menacée d’illégalité.

I have been a photographer for over 30 years in the US and was very fortunate to witness these GREAT AMERICAN traditions and wish to preserve and share what might disappear from the US because of the strong anti-immigration policy under the Trump administration.
The United States is a melting pot of different cultures, and the way weddings are celebrated can be the most joyous manifestation of that.The traditions of various ethnic groups such as Chinese, Mexican, Korean and Indian in particular, are rich with rituals that differ significantly from one another and demonstrate a deep respect for family and community.
Many African-Americans include African traditions mixed with new trending styles.
“Anglo-saxons Americans” are very attached to their past as well, be it Irish, German, English, Dutch, Italian….
The LGBTQ population is also being targeted and the union between men or women is on the verge of being made illegal again.
